Delivering Regional Need

We are responding to regional need by creating an improved employer and demand led learning market, which is providing a coherent and progressive service, moving individuals from pre-employability to higher level skills and utilising partnership working to change the behaviour of employers and individuals.

Within the wider skills and education agenda, we will seek to support activities in the region which provide competitive advantage for the North East. As an example, we will work with partners to further enhance the National Careers Services with regional programmes to better enable employers to access graduates and highly skilled labour to provide sustainable employment opportunities within the region.
