TNEI

Energy consultants at TNEI have been studying the legislation for the past year and have acquired an in-depth knowledge of how the new rules will impact on organisations.

Working in energy management, the team is ideally placed to determine how your organisation will be affected and how you can improve your energy efficiency in advance of the CRC.

The team is also well placed to advise on energy monitoring and targeting and enhancing business efficiency and reducing cost.

The CRC Simulation Project Team consists of:

  • Helen Nisbet
  • Louise Hodges
  • Richard Jennings
  • Rachel Ward

You can contact the TNEI Project Team by email on crc@tnei.co.uk or by phone on 0191 211 1415.

One North East

North East England has a proud history of pioneering developments in the field of energy. North East coal helped drive the industrial revolution and today, in the twenty-first century the price of energy is an important operational cost for businesses in the region.

North East England is leading the UK's efforts in tackling climate change and security of supply for all with demonstrable expertise in many areas ranging from long established energy efficiency programmes for both the industrial and domestic sector through to the development and commercialisation of renewable energy technologies.

Carbon Reduction North East is a support initiative from One North East, which will allow businesses in the region to learn about the Carbon Reduction Commitment through practical experience and also learn from shared experiences. This will better prepare businesses with a high energy use for the legislation when it takes effect in April 2010.  In addition, the outcomes from Carbon Reduction North East will provide a valuable insight into the impact of the Carbon Reduction Commitment scheme on business and inform One North East on the support needs for businesses who are participants in the CRC schene starting in 2010.

Kate Hatton is the project manager for Carbon Reduction North East and can be contacted by email kate.hatton@onenortheast.co.uk or on 0191 229 6323.
