The launch of Business Link North East

From 1 April 2007 Business Link North East will be managing and developing the Business Link service across the whole of the North East.

My aim together with our private sector led board is to single-mindedly focus on transform the North East economy by bringing customers a consistently high quality, responsive and dynamic Business Link service.

You will see a number of changes being introduced over the coming months all of which are working to bring customers:

• A locally delivered service underpinned by the strength of regional resources
• A more targeted service which will focus on generating a positive impact in the North East’s economy
• A much simpler process of accessing the best private and publics sector solutions
• Highly trained and experienced business professionals who understand your business needs and aspirations

I’m really excited about what the changes to the service will bring to customers right across the region and look forward to working with you.
