Benchmarking
One North East has undertaken a significant amount of benchmarking activity as part of the Organisation Development Programme. The Agency’s approach is closely aligned with our Continuous Improvement activities and our Value for Money Strategy. We are also committed to sharing best practice within the RDA family and other organisations.
We use evidence by assessing our performance against external standards such as Investors in Excellence Beta+ assessments against the externally recognised EFQM criteria and Investors in People to inform the development of our initial work streams.
We have also developed and fully implemented a Benchmarking Strategy which sets out the Agency’s approach to a range of benchmarking activity. These are grouped into 5 headline categories, comprising of:
• Organisational benchmarking
• Administration benchmarking
• Programme benchmarking
• Human resource benchmarking
• Governance benchmarking
