WHAT IS A VIRUS AND HOW DOES IT SPREAD?
A virus is a program or piece of code that is loaded onto your computer, attaching itself to your computer files and folders without your knowledge and running against your wishes. Most viruses can also replicate themselves and spread to other computers.

Viruses can be passed from one computer to another by means of email or through infected software. Experts recommend that email users do not open any email that is received when the recipient is not sure where it came from.
